Saturday turned out to be a very pleasant day after a cloudy start. Temperatures were warm as well with the high at Louis Armstrong International topping out at 72 after a low in the middle 50s.
Sunday will be just as nice as the low pressure system that kept us in the clouds and rain over the last week moved on leaving behind drier air. We will stay in the drier pattern at least into late Tuesday when a bit more moisture moves in kicked north by an upper low to the southwest.
Wednesday could be wet with some showers. Models are not in synch for the end of the week so best forecast for right now keeps some scattered showers in for the end of the week with a better rain chance returning Saturday.
