NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Robert Durst, real-estate heir and subject of the HBO series “The Jinx,” has been arrested in New Orleans on an out-of-state warrant.

According to Louisiana State Police, Durst was arrested Saturday night in the J.W. Marriott hotel on the warrant, which was issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Durst was arrested for the December 2000 murder of Susan Berman, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Berman's body was discovered in her West Los Angeles home on Christmas Eve 2000. Since that time, officers with the LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division have been conducting an investigation into her death.
