Massive hole left after driver crashes through Uptown Rite-Aid

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A woman told police she's not sure what happened right before her car crashed into a St. Charles Avenue drug store Monday afternoon.

The 58- year-old woman's white Ford Ranger pick-up slammed through the wall of the Rite-Aid in the 3400 block of St. Charles Avenue.

The driver told police she temporarily lost consciousness and doesn't remember what happened.

She was taken to the hospital to get checked out.

No bystanders were seriously injured.
