NOPD: Pair wanted for Marigny armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans detectives are searching for two men wanted for an armed robbery that occurred in the Marigny. The incident took place Thursday at 9:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Saint Anthony Street.

Police say that the victim was standing behind his car when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects pulled a grey revolver while the other told the victim to hand over his wallet and watch. The victim complied and both suspects ran down Saint Anthony Street in the direction of Burgundy Street, then in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described as an African-American man, who is in his late teens or early 20's. He is 5'10" tall with a skinny face. He was wearing a dark jacket, a dark knit hat and a red bandana over his face.
