Sunny skies on Tuesday brought temperatures within one degree of tying the record at the Airport when we hit 86 degrees. St. Patrick's Day has so far been the hottest day of the year!
It will not be as warm today with mostly cloudy skies and a chance for afternoon showers.
An upper disturbance is coming out of Mexico and Texas has already begun to increase cloudiness across the region and will likely trigger some showers later in the day.
We will see fewer showers for the rest of the week, but another upper feature coming in from the west will increase shower and thunderstorm coverage this weekend, especially Saturday.
