NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - With a weak front draped across the area, a stray shower or two is possible Thursday. Otherwise, it will be mostly dry.
It looks the same for Friday as well. An upper disturbance currently approaching southern CA will trigger showers and some thunderstorms this weekend.
The timing is still in question with late Saturday and Sunday being the peak times for rain.
Once this feature moves past, a front looks to push through early next week dropping temperatures slightly and cause a small drop in humidity for a few days.
