Today is the last full day of winter as spring arrives Friday evening at 5:45pm.
Today will feel nothing like winter as highs will rise into the 80s as we have for the last 3 days. With a weak front draped across the area, a stray shower or two is possible, but we mostly dry. Expect more of that Friday as well.
An upper disturbance currently approaching southern California will trigger showers and some thunderstorms this weekend. The timing is still in question, but late Saturday and Sunday appear to be the peak times for rain. Once this feature moves past, a front looks to push through early next week dropping temperatures slightly and cause a small drop in humidity for a few days.
