A Metairie man has been booked after he allegedly distributed child porn to an undercover Plaquemines Parish detective.

Donyeal Allen Taylor, 34, was arrested for distribution of pornography involving juveniles. An undercover investigation into Taylor began on February 8.

Deputies say Taylor shared two online files with PPSO Detective Sergeant Aaron Verrette, who is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and was working undercover.

Officers say the two videos depicted pre-pubescent females, approximately 10 to 12-years-old, engaged in sexual intercourse with an adult male.

Detectives then obtained a court order for the internet service provider that was utilized to transmit the child pornography, which revealed that it was registered to Taylor.

A search warrant was issued for Taylor's home, located in the 3100 block of Taft Street.

Police found Taylor in the home. Deputies say he confessed to downloading and sharing the child pornography. Since Taylor distributed the child pornography in Plaquemines Parish, a warrant of arrest was obtained for him by Plaquemines Parish detectives.

He remains in custody at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center without bond. Officers say arrangements have been made to transport his to Plaquemines Parish Detention Center.

Police say Taylor has prior convictions in Kalamazoo, Michigan for drug possession and domestic violence.
