NOPD: Man wanted for Central City robbery, assault

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect responsible for a simple robbery and simple assault that happened on Friday near the intersection of Saint Charles Avenue and Erato Street.

According to police, 41-year old Daniel Brazen and a 29-year old victim were involved in a domestic dispute at 10:30p.m. Brazen grabbed the victims cell phone before running away.

Detectives also learned that he supposedly made several threatening phone calls to the victim.

Brazen is described as a white male, 5'10" tall and weighing 185lbs. Police say Brazen is regularly seen at Vic's Kangaroo Cafe located at 636 Tchoupitoulas St. His last known address is 709 Tchoupitoulas Street, Apt 3.
