We managed to dodge most of the rain over the weekend with the heaviest showers coming well after dark both Saturday and Sunday night. It turned out to be rather nice and lived up to the spring calendar. Late Sunday a weak frontal system moved in leaving behind a relatively dense cloud deck. While a bit of blue sky managed to break out at times through the day the clouds will linger late into the evening before clearing. Those clouds kept temperatures more than 10 degrees cooler than over the weekend with highs only in the upper 60's.
Expect a gradual warm up with highs rebounding back into the upper 70's and some low 80's as we head towards the end of the week. Thursday night into early Friday a strong cold front moves through triggering showers on Thursday and a major drop in temperatures by Friday. To finish the week, afternoon temperatures could remain in the 60's with morning lows in the 30's and 40's over the weekend. At least we will have sunny skies and comfortable afternoon highs in the 60's Saturday and Sunday!
