NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - An approaching cold front will increase rain chances Thursday.
Some showers in the Gulf heading northward could affect parts of the viewing area Thursday morning, but most rain will begin by mid-day and into the afternoon.
Some thunderstorms are also possible. Once the front pushes through later Thursday night, a sharp drop in temperatures is expected with morning lows in the 50s South and 40s to the north.
We'll see sunny skies Friday with highs in the mid 60s! Beautiful weather for the weekend, but a chilly morning Saturday with both sides of the Lake beginning in the 40s and afternoon highs reaching the low 70s. We'll reach the upper 70s to near 80 by Palm Sunday.
