A New Orleans-based real estate fund aimed at eradicating blight hopes to transform part of Mid-City.
According to our partners at New Orleans CityBusiness, the New Orleans redevelopment fund is planning to apply for construction permits within the next month for a four-story structure at 3100 Banks Street.
The plan is to transform the site into 13 residential units and commercial space.
The property was destroyed by fire years ago. It has been vacant for at least five years.
