NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - This past weekend was one of the nicest in a while. We saw low humidity and plenty of sunshine.
The feel of spring will be in the air over the next few days as we see warmer temperatures and higher humidity return this week. We also have the chance of a few stray showers each day.
With high pressure well to our east, southerly winds pump in moisture across the area. A cold front sinks south and stalls north of the area bringing a slight chance for showers. Most rain will stay north of us with the stalled frontal boundary.
Looking ahead to the holiday weekend, it appears Good Friday will be dry and warm, but rain pushes back into the area early Saturday.
Another frontal system moves in for Easter Sunday and may threaten some of your holiday celebrations.
