NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - As high pressure remains in place to our south, we have not seen much rain and I do not expect to see much throughout the work week. Late on Good Friday through early Saturday is our next big chance of rain.
The warm and muggy conditions will stick around so while the latest front stalled to our north we continue to stay in the warm sector. All eyes are turning to the end of the week when another stronger front should push through the area.
Right now it looks like the timing would keep rain late Friday night into early morning Saturday leaving behind cooler and drier conditions. That timing would be best for all the Easter weekend activities.
