Bayou bandit makes off with fishing nets, power tools

BAYOU BLUE, LA (WVUE) -

Deputies in Lafourche Parish are searching for a bayou bandit who stole several thousand dollars worth or fishing nets and power tools.   Sheriff Craig Webre says someone broke into an outdoor shed in Bayou Blue.

Deputies were called out to a home in the 100 block of Silver Drive Tuesday night in reference to a burglary.  Detectives say the burglary made off with fishing nets, power tools, and other net-making equipment. The stolen items are valued at several thousand dollars.
