NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After months of study, a consulting firm hired to make recommendations for improvements to the city's public transportation presented its findings Thursday to the Regional Transit Authority.
The firm identified those routes that underused and overused, and made suggestions to improve efficiency based on that information.
As a result, the RTA will add more buses in some places and eliminate service in others.
The black lines in the graphic above are routes the consultants recommended be discontinued.
