NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - We will continue to see temps above normal through Good Friday as a warm surge of muggy air rides in from the south.
We should remain dry through the daylight hours Friday, then a cold front moves into the area bringing a chance of rain overnight Friday and ending early Saturday.
Cooler temps will follow behind the front. Not freezing, but it will cool to the normals in the lower to mid 70s. Most of the energy with this system is well to our north.
Some showers along the front pre-dawn Saturday with clearing skies and falling temps once the front is through. Sunny and cool Saturday and mostly sunny Easter Sunday with highs in the mid 70s. We're back to the 80s Monday.
