NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A disturbance will bring a few rounds of showers and isolated heavy downpours tonight, mostly on the north shore. The return flow from the Gulf is kicking in as warm, moist, muggy air will be the norm for most of the week.
An upper disturbance and cold front will bring increasing rain coverage for Friday and Saturday. Some heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible, with the real threat of severe weather looking to remain well north.
The front will stall, keeping temperatures warm through the weekend.
