NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - We will see a mix of sun and clouds Tuesday as high temperatures break the 80 degree mark.
A chance for a passing afternoon shower is possible, but most of us will remain dry.
We will see much of the same for Wednesday as well with a slightly better chance for a shower Thursday.
By Friday and into the weekend, the chance for showers and storms greatly increases as a cold front moves into the area and stalls. This will keep rain coverage high, about 70-80 percent, for Friday and Saturday with rain chances tapering off Sunday.
Monday also looks wet as an upper trough and second front sweep through the area.
