(WVUE) - We can expect much of the same Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds, mostly dry conditions and afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 80s.
Thursday looks about the same, but a few afternoon showers are possible.
The more substantial rain arrives Friday along a cold front. The front will stall, keeping rain coverage high for Saturday as well.
At this time, flooding does not appear to be an issue as rainfall amounts are not expected to be so great that normal drainage cannot keep up. We should see breaks in the rainfall.
The front dissipates and rain coverage decreases by Sunday, but another upper disturbance triggers more showers and some thunderstorms by early next week.
