Man stabs two, robs another in French Quarter

A 26-year-old man has been arrested after stabbing two people in the back and robbing another in the French Quarter.

Jerico Miller, 26, was arrested shortly before midnight on Wednesday night.

Officers say Miller stabbed his first victim, a 36-year-old man, in the 1000 block of Decatur Street. The victim was stabbed in the back.

After the stabbing, police say Miller walked a few blocks to the 600 block of St. Peter Street where he allegedly robbed a 36-year-old man at knifepoint. Officers say he robbed the man for $20.

Miller then walked to the 900 block of Royal Street where he stabbed a 43-year-old man in the back, police say.

Both stabbing victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located and arrested Miller in the 900 block of Royal Street. Police say they recovered a knife and a stolen $20 bill. Miller confessed to all three crimes, detectives say.

Miller allegedly told police "he thought someone was out to get him."

Miller was booked with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of armed robbery.
