Thursday afternoon will once again see temperatures reach the mid 80s, possibly tying or maybe breaking the current record at the Airport of 86 degrees.
On Wednesday, we reached 85.
It will be a mostly dry day, but get ready for showers and storms Friday as a cold front moves into the area. The front will be slow to move through and there is a slight risk of severe weather on Friday.
By Saturday, the question remains: will the front push offshore? If that happens, we could be dry or at least drier for part of the weekend.
Models appear to be tending in that direction. We'll start Sunday dry, with the front working back northward, triggering showers and storms by the afternoon.
