NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a man after he gave them a ride from New Orleans East to Gentilly.

According to NOPD, the 37-year-old victim told detectives that he met the men who robbed him at a night club in the 3900 block of Downman Road around 4:20 a.m. on April 9.

The victim agreed to give the two suspects a ride to the 2500 block of Myrtle Street. When they arrived, police say the two suspects pulled out guns and demanded the victim's money. He complied, giving them over $500 in cash and both suspects fled the area on foot.

The victim said he could not remember the names of the two men who robbed him.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying the two suspects in this robbery from the surveillance photos above.
