Slidell man arrested on child pornography charges

SLIDELL, LA (WVUE) - A Slidell man is behind bars arrested on child pornography charges, according to the Louisiana Attorney General's Office.

Jarrett Wayne Tillman, 19, of Claire Drive, was arrested as a result of a joint effort involving the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and the Slidell Police Department. 

The Louisiana Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit conducted an investigation into the possible possession of child pornography which led agents to execute a search warrant at Tillman's residence.

During the search, investigators discovered Tillman was in possession of numerous pornographic images of children between the ages of six and 14 engaged in sexual activities or posed in a sexual manner. Tillman was booked into the Slidell City Jail.

Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
