NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - We are underneath a stalled upper SW flow that is bringing disturbance after disturbance across the Gulf South resulting in the potential for more heavy rains on top of saturated soils that could cause some street flooding.
Fortunately there are many dry hours between systems that allow the pumps to catch up. Our next round of storms could arrive just in time for morning rush hour so you may need to allow for extra drive time. We are likely to repeat the process for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday before a drying trend arrives for the weekend.
