JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Detectives have arrested two men and are searching for a third, responsible for a homicide in Harvey.
Javontae Simmons, 21, and Dorian Lonzo, 19, were taken into custody. The homicide, which occurred April 7 in the 3700 block of Clover Lane, claimed the life of Stacy Johnson.
Police say that Jefferson Parish deputies and U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force arrested Simmons in Marrero. After questioning, he was booked with one count of second-degree murder.
On April 10, officials took Lonzo into custody in New Orleans, police say. Once questioned, he was also booked with one count of second-degree murder.
According to police, detectives learned that a third person is believed to be involved in the homicide. The individual is only identified as an African American man who goes by the nickname "Day-Day"
