The Smoothie King Center box office opened at 9 a.m. Thursday, but one Pelicans fan arrived at 6:45 a.m. to be the first in line for tickets.The Pelicans are going to the playoffs and at least two games will be played in New Orleans next week. As the Pels take on the Golden State Warriors in the first round, fans want to be part of the action.
"I want to see us make history and win a playoff game and just go as far as we can," says Clarence Davis of New Orleans.
"I'm excited about the playoff run, where they can go with this," says Joseph Emmons of Mandeville. "I feel like if Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans can get hot, we got a really good chance of beating these guys."
The Pelicans play in the Smoothie King Center next Thursday and Saturday nights.
