NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Some drier air aloft provided for a much nicer Sunday with most of us enjoying sunny skies! And after 10 straight days of rain, it was welcomed.
We did have some severe weather in SW MS and offshore, but it was quiet across much of SE LA.
And this week looks to remain rather quiet, but not totally rain-free. A cold front moving through today will drop temperatures slightly as well as the humidity.
The muggies begin to return Wednesday along with a slight chance for a passing shower. A better chance for some rain Thursday and the possibility for another weak front this weekend.
