JPSO: Person of interest sought in robbery on west bank

JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a person of interest in a robbery on the west bank. The incident occurred Saturday at 2:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Mt. Whitney Drive in Marrero.

Police say that the victim walked into a convenience store near the intersection of Lapalco and Ames Boulevards before the robbery. Video footage from inside the store was viewed by JPSO Robbery Investigators. They noticed an African-American man dressed in a white cap, white shirt, red pants and white shoes. He is considered a person of interest in the case.
