NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Our cold front pushed through late last night prompting a few more showers and thunderstorms nearby, but most of us stayed dry and we ended up with a pleasant Monday. The sunshine should continue through the day on Tuesday and we will also have relatively cool conditions for Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Look for mostly clear conditions overnight with temperatures dropping into the 50s on the north shore. By Wednesday moisture and temperatures increase and we will begin to see some scattered showers developing. Thursday may be the wettest day. That's not the best news for Zurich Classic, but Jazz Fest may get a break with much less coverage on Friday. The rest of the weekend is looking to be mostly to partly cloudy and breezy. It's still a long way off so we will monitor closely in the Fox 8 Weather Center.
