Police make two arrests searching for carjacker

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police arrest a juvenile for a carjacking and another suspect on a warrant for attempted murder.

According to a NOPD report, on April 15, 2015 police respond to a call of a woman carjacked.

Sunday evening officers find a male, fitting the victim's description, walking with two other males near North Miro.

When officers arrived the three men took off running. Police chased and apprehended the men. They arrested a 16-year-old male fitting the carjacking description. They then discover one of the other men caught in the foot chase is 22- year-old Darrion Hubbard wanted for attempted murder that occurred April 17, 2013.

Both men are arrested. Hubbard was booked with attempted murder and the 16-year-old juvenile was sent to the Juvenile Detention Center.
