NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are looking for a man accused of aggravated assault.

Police say two men, ages 30 and 28, were sitting in a restaurant parking lot in the 1500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue on Monday around 9:30 p.m. when a man walked up to them and tried to grab the 30-year-old victim's food out of his hand. The 28-year-old man intervened and the man left and walked to a nearby car. Police said he grabbed a rifle out of the trunk, then walked back to the victims, pointed it at them, and said, "I'm killing everybody." He then walked back to the car and drove off.

Police believe surveillance cameras inside the restaurant got a picture of the man. Once arrested he'll be booked with aggravated assault.

If you can help find him, call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
