NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has a plan it thinks will ease traffic on one of the most congested stretches of Interstate 10. It wants to hear from drivers about their experience along the interstate's corridor in the Baton Rouge area.
Traffic experts think getting feedback from people who travel through the area is one of the best ways to come up with solutions to ease backup.
"Traffic is so bad in this part of town that our business is hurt. We have people who won't deliver anymore, especially like on a Friday. They won't even attempt to come across the bridge, because if you don't get across the bridge and back by 3:30 p.m, you're stuck," driver Rachel Tempanaro said.
