Man, dog injured in Algiers shooting

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man and his dog Wednesday in Algiers.


The incident happened just after 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of Hendee Street.


NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson III said both the man and the dog sustained non-life-threatening wounds to the body.


Robertson said the investigation is ongoing and there was no other information to release.
