JPSO: Man surrenders to police in stabbing death of his brother

JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

A man surrenders to Jefferson Parish deputies in connection with the stabbing death of his younger brother.

Deputies issued an arrest warrant for 27-year-old Gary Nunemacher.

Police say say Ryan Nunenmacher, 22, arrived at East Jefferson Hospital around 12:15 a.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Police say that Gary Nunenmacher, the brother of the victim, transported the victim to the hospital. Officers say that he fled the scene on foot after dropping off the victim.

Police say they have been unable to determine where the stabbing occurred.
