Sunday ended up being a fairly pleasant, but warm day. Storms stayed off shore keeping most of us dry, but that will change by drive time on Monday morning. Strong upper level winds combined with low pressure moving in from the west will bring in heavy rain.
The Storm Prediction Center places the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather through the day. Storms will linger through the overnight bringing heavy rain, high winds and a chance for hail.
Even though Monday will be in the dumper, the rest of the week is looking pretty good behind this next system. Storms will clear out during the day on Tuesday. Wednesday will be breezy, sunny and cool with highs dropping below normal in the 70s for the middle of the week. Temperatures and moisture will gradually rise back to long term averages by next weekend.
