NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - As an upper low to our west sends storms our way today, there is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather.
The timing looks to be Monday afternoon through the overnight.
All types of weather are possible including hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall and tornadoes. This risk looks to abate by Tuesday morning around daybreak.
By Tuesday night, a cold front will pass through, dropping temperatures and humidity significantly for the rest of the week.
Dew point will drop from the 70s to 40s and overnight temperatures will get cool, especially north.
Sunshine looks to remain in the forecast through the weekend.
