NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - South Louisiana braces for severe weather on Monday, bringing the potential for tornadoes and flooding in some areas.
The timing looks to be Monday afternoon through the overnight.
All types of weather are possible including hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall and tornadoes. This risk looks to abate by Tuesday morning around daybreak.
A tornado warning is in effect for the following areas:
Southern Tangipahoa Parish
Southeastern Livingston Parish
St. John the Baptist
The rest of the FOX 8 viewing area is under a TORNADO WATCH through 1 p.m.
