NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After the severe weather Monday, Tuesday will be a breeze.
A few showers are still possible by late morning and early afternoon, but the severe risk is minimal...actually, it's "marginal" as defined by the Storm Prediction Center.
Most storms will likely remain over the Gulf waters. A cool and dry air surge arrives later Tuesday night, bringing with it a significant drop in dew points.
High clouds may linger Wednesday before sunshine breaks out Thursday and lasts through the weekend. Morning lows will be in the 50s and afternoon highs about 10 degrees cooler than normal.
Jazz Fest looks amazing with temperatures in the 70s Thursday and Friday and low 80s this weekend. Humidity will begin to increase by Sunday and turn muggy on Monday.
