NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Louisiana State Troopers arrest a former Orleans Parish School Board member.
They say lobbyist Jimmy Fahrenholtz stole a leather case containing an iPad, documents, and other items from the state capitol building in Baton Rouge.
Troopers say the 65-year-old denied knowing about the theft, but investigators found the missing items in his Bayou St. John home.
Nola.com-The Times-Picayune report high-powered lobbyist James Nickel reported his iPad had been stolen and that Fahrenholtz tossed the table into a pool to try and destroy the evidence. He faces charges of felony theft, obstruction of justice and possession of stolen property.
