JPSO asks for help identifying a robbery vehicle

METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office asks for the public's assistance with an armed robbery that happened Thursday, April 16, in the 2700 block of Danny Park in Metairie. 

Investigators say around 6:50 a.m., a man held a woman up at gunpoint for her purse, then drove off in a blue Ford Ranger with an extended cab.

The JPSO Robbery Section was able locate surveillance cameras that captured the vehicle. Investigators say it appeared that the truck had tape or some other object around the rear passenger-side window.

Anyone that knows the driver or owner of the vehicle is asked to contact the JPSO Robbery Section at 364-5300.
