NOPD releases video of St. Roch vandals

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The NOPD is asking for the public's help in locating and identifying four males and two females wanted in connection with vandalizing the St. Roch Market located at 2381 Saint Claude Avenue.

At around 2:20 a.m., the suspects were captured on video surveillance carrying buckets of pink paint and armed with squirt guns. Moments later, the suspects began to splatter the building with paint and break several windows. The suspects then fled the area on foot after causing more than $20,000 in damage to the newly renovated building.

The suspects were all dressed in black clothing with masks covering their faces.

Citizens with information that can help solve this crime are asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP. You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,500 for the information leading only to the arrest, except on homicides, where Crimestoppers will pay half of the reward upon the arrest and half on the indictment of the responsible person(s). You do not have to give your name nor testify to receive the reward but you must contact Crimestoppers directly with your information.
