Person of interest named in FQ stabbing

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are searching for a man they believe has information on a stabbing in the French Quarter Saturday.

According to NOPD, 22-year-old Leron Williams may have information on the non-fatal stabbing that took place in the 700 block of Saint Louis Street.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on May 2. The victim was involved in an argument that turned physical between two unknown white woman. The victim was stabbed in both arms.

According to the victim, one of the women was armed with a pocket knife and a Taser.

Williams is not a suspect in the investigation. Police only want to speak to him because he may have knowledge that could help solve this case.
