NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Plenty of sunshine lingers to finish out a perfect weather weekend. Temperatures in the low 80's will continue right into the start of the week, but with the high pressure moving east winds pick up out of the southeast. The southeasterly winds increase moisture so there is a bit more humidity, but overall we are still looking at very pleasant conditions across the area.
The upper high will weaken as a disturbance passes north of the region. With the additional moisture and increased instability a few pop up showers are possible Monday afternoon. A developing low near the Bahamas may be strong enough to create some dry air drainage across our area reducing the already slim rain chances as we head into the middle of the week.
