NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - People driving to the Lower 9th Ward or St. Bernard Parish Wednesday may need to take a detour.
State highway workers will close the southbound span of the Judge Seeber Bridge, also known as the Claiborne Ave. Bridge, for about three hours. It will shut down from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Department of Transportation and Development says workers will make electrical repairs. Officials remind people to drive with caution through the construction site.
