Deputies search for stolen ovens

TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who drove off with two ovens from a local store.

On April 26, investigators say a white male pulled up to the back of Sam's in a light-colored Chevrolet truck and loaded two industrial-size ovens valued at $16,000. The driver then left the scene. Detectives were able to determine that the suspect had been in the parking lot the previous day, as well. The  truck appears to be a newer model and is possibly tan in color.

When he is caught, the driver will face felony theft.

Anyone with information concerning the crime is asked to call Bayou-area Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433.
