DALLAS, TX (WVUE) - After going undrafted last week, outgoing LSU standout offensive lineman La'el Collins has signed with the Dallas Cowboys, per multiple NFL sources.
Collins received the red carpet treatment from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, quarterback Tony Romo and other Dallas players last night as Jones hosted Collins at his personal residence.
Collins' deal is for three years and is fully guaranteed. Collins spent the past few days meeting with several NFL teams' representatives.
Collins went undrafted after Baton Rouge Police announced they wanted to question Collins in the shooting death of Brittney Mills, who was eight months pregnant at the time. Collins was never listed as a suspect.
Per a FOX 8 source, Jones told La'el Collins the Cowboys want to assemble the greatest offensive line ever.
