NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Another severe weather outbreak is expected for parts of the Plains Friday with a focus on north Texas and central Oklahoma. Plus, Subtropical Storm Ana formed off the East coast near the Carolinas.
There is not a severe threat for us and Ana not a concern.
In between these systems, we remain quiet. It will be another mostly dry and sunny day with highs in the low to mid 80s.
We can expect much of the same through the Mother's Day weekend.
An approaching front will trigger better rain chances by the middle of next week.
