Bob:Enjoy the beautiful weekend

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Sub-Tropical Storm Ana is stalled off the east coast and that means storms forming over the southern plains are forced to lift up and around us as Ana's circulation keep drawing down drier air.

Ana is only expected to drift onto the Carolina coast by Sunday so we should see no major changes to our mostly dry weather here.

Next week looks wetter as Ana finally moves away allowing for the progression of fronts into the Gulf South once again. Our next front could stall keeping us in high rain chances all week.
