NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Our nearly 2 week dry cycle is ending today, especially across the North Shore where 1-2" of rain has soaked many areas.
The line of storms is weakening as it approaches the South Shore and will likely dissipate after sunset.
A weak frontal boundary will hang around us for Tuesday & Wednesday before the front retreats back to the north by Thursday. With low level moisture firmly in place, we should see daily daytime heating storms develop each day quite typical of early summertime.
It's only a matter of time before we see our first 90 degree day.
